Thomas Ramsden, Victoria, B.C.

I am seeking information on a Thomas Ramsden that lived in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, who was on the Prince Robert, a ship that captured a German boat, the Weiser, off the west coast of South America during WWII.
I have very little information about him. I've been told that he may have lived and was possibly born in Saskatewan. I have more information but it may be sensitive to inquiring parties and would like to break news gently. I can say that he lived in Victoria from approx. 1939-1943. If you can help me in any way please don't hesitate to reply, this is an important quest for our entire family.
