Hi Robin

My daughter and grandchildren descended upon me for the holiday weekend and I had no chance to get on the computer.

Thank you for the information on the local places, that and an online map (although contemporary) helped me to more clearly visualize the area.

Frederick W and his brother William were born in Little Ilford and FW sent his sons from Cuba to the Forest School.

It is possible that Hildebrand inherited the house as Tullie had no descendants but I have not found any records to confirm that.
The place in Walthamstow was described as "a delightful rambling old house" and seemed to have many gardens surrounding it so it probably was torn down to make way for more modern buildings.

Thank you so much for your information and I will post here if I come across anything else. I would appreciate it if you could do the same.

Best regards

Jo
