Frederick Wollaston Ramsden (1839-1898) was also the British Consulate in Cuba for the province of Santiago. He passed away in Jamaica in the Spanish-American war and them brought back to Cuba to be burried. I wish I had more info to give you, but unfortunately am very limited myself. He was my great, great grandfather and I've tried "googling" his name and have found a few interesting facts. You might want to try conatcing Alex and Susana on this forum. They seem to know about this family line.
Good luck and best regards... I would love to know what you find.
