I am descended from an Isabella Ramsden. who married John Moore around 1909 in Gateshead. They had two daughters Annie b. 1910 and Jennie b. 1914 (my mother). I believe that Isabella Ramsden is the daughter of Joshua Ramsden (b. ca. 1854) who married Hannah Graham(?). Family history has it that Hannah’s father was a Games Keeper for the Lord of the Manor at Stately Hall, Leam Lane between Springwell and Wardley and that Isabella was from Felling.
Shown below are four families from the 1881 Durham Co census, all coal miners. I believe this is my Isabella, shown as daughter of Joshua. Is this your Edward?
