I have a record of William Ramsden,b.1625 d.1679, married Elizabeth Palmes dau. of George Palmes(not Palmer). His father was Sir John Ramsden,b.1594 d.1646,m.Margaret Frecheville, dau. of Sir Peter Frecheville of Stavelely,co. Derby. Sir John was Sheriff of Yorkshire fr. 1636. His father was William Ramsden of Longley and Byron(or Byrom or Byram). Any info on this line going fwd. or back would be appreciated.
