Ramsaur is the original spelling of the name when the immigrants came from Germany-three brothers to my knowledge all bgt land in Markham Tract Philadelphia, Pa-Heinrich,Dietrich, and Theodore- I descend Heinrich-his son Johanne Adam was the one to change the spelling to Ramsower and dropped the Johanne and becamr Adam-There are several of us trying to find more on the Ramsower spelling- I know for a fact Dietrich did not change the spelling so all his descendants still spell it the correct way. does anyone know what happened to Theodore?
