The parents of Francis Rebecca Rampey who married George Briskey were Peter Rampey who was in Abbeville COunty, South Carolina on the 1850 census. The Rampey or Rampi family were from the Palantine in Germany. There is a book written about the Rampey's in America and I will be glad to share information.
