Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
No, the Ramon name and the Ramos name are not the same name. I have both names in my family. The Ramon family tree I have been searching is from Mier, Mexico, and the Ramos family tree is from South Texas around Cameron county, Starr County, and Nueces County, where my great grandfather Martin Ramos was Sheriff of San Benito County, Texas, back in the 1880's, and I do know that my great great grandfather, Jacinto Ramos was married to a Victoria Ramos around the early 1850 or 1860.
I hope this information helps alittle. I will place this info in the Ramos area also.
