The information you gave me is very limited. If you are not having any luck in getting your phone calls returned you might want to try a formal letter and request a written reply to your questions and concerns.
I am aware of two pending lawsuits and this concerns the Balli Padre Island case and the other one is for Jose Vicente Longoria Chapa. The Balli case is at the Texas Supreme Court level and the Jose Vicente Longoria is simply a case where some attorneys are trying to have a Rio Grande Judge to declare a group of Longoria descendants as legal heirs. My understanding is that if this is accomplished, a claim for unpaid and future royalties will be made against one or more oil companies.
You did not indicate which case you are involved in but I hope this helps in some way. The best source for accurate information is from your attorney.
