Ramirez Family Genealogy Forum

Hello to the both of you!
This is actually very weird, and I'm not even sure if there is a link here, but my grandfather (who just passed away exactly 1 month ago) was named Angel Baron Ramirez (spelled with 1 R, the way you had it originally in your first post), with Baron actually being his mother's maiden name. He was born in 1918 in Mexico, but, coincidentally, he and my father (his son), Rogelio, settled in East L.A. back in the late 50's, early 60's, and me and my sisters were all born and raised here, and still have our roots here (my mom and dad still have the same house in Boyle Heights that we grew up in, which happens to be right next door to my grandparents' house).
Again, I'm not sure if there is a link, but it seems like way too much coincidence. I am 39 years old, and recently moved back to L.A. after being in Miami for the last 9 years. I have been researching my family's genealogy for about 4 years now, on and off, and am very interested in this hobby. Do you know if Richard or Amparo's family is from Mexico and from what part? Please get back to me...I'd love to see if we've got something here. Talk to you soon!!!
