hi there rosa,
you asked me about nestora ramirez's parents. nestora's mother is agapita hinojosa ramirez born 1811, mier, tama..
agapita's father is jose vincent f. hinojosa garcia and agapita's mother is ma. antonia ramirez born 1785.
jose vincent F. hinojosa garcia's father is jose francisco antonio hinojosa born 1753 cerralvo n. l. mex and his mother is maria candelaria garcia and they were married 23 may 1774 mier, tama. mex.. ma. antonia ramirez's parents are jose luis ramirez born 1755 or 1757 and her mother is
maria bacilia martinez(they are also my gggggrandparents).
they were married jan. 20 1782.jose francisco antonio hinojosa parents are jose marcelino hinojosa born 1724 at cerralvo and maria rosa azaldua. jose marcelino hinojosa's parents are juan manuel hinojosa born 1695 san gregorio de cerralvo, n. l. mex. and maria inez chapa and they were married in 1713 at san gregorio de cerralvo n. l. mex.
jose luis ramirez's parents are jose cristobal xptobal ramirez born 1712 saltillo, coah. mex. and matiana hinojosa
chapa .matiana hinojosa chapa 's parents are jose manuel hinojosa and maria inez chapa. there fore agapita's
great grandmother on her mother's side and her great great grandfather on her father's side were brother and sister.
nestora's father is antonio ramirez ysaguirre born abt 1797. antonio ramirez ysaguirre's father is jose miguel ramirez born 1759 mier and his mother is ma. ant. isaguirre and they wer married jan 8, 1783.jose miguel had the aqua nueva de arriba ranch near hebbronville. jose miguel's father was jose cristobal xptobal ramirez born 1712 saltillo, coah. mex. and his mother is matiana hinojosa chapa. matiana hinojosa chapa's parents are jose manuel hinojosa and maria inez chapa. this would make nestora's gggrandfather on her mother's side and her gggrandmother on her father's side side brother and sister. therefore agapita's parents were double second cousins once removed on both the hinojosas and the ramirezes.
i found something i found very very interesting .
the old hinojosa records were registered at camargo some going back to abt 1710 even though camargo was not settled until 1749. again another example of records being posted post the event at the time of the settlements as was the case for jose cristobal's children at mier. this would make the old el rosario hacienda that was on the southern side of the rio grand but a ways from the river and on which land camargo was settled the old hacienda of the hinojosas. the hinojosa line can be taken all the way back to 1550in spain.
the sainz ranch listed on the nestora info from the 1880 census has the ranch in hidalgo county some miles down the river from mier. the info i had on severa ramirez and melchor ramirez is all i could find in the database for that time period and at that location.
even though it seem it is not the one you seek i urge you to reexamine the possibility because one date 1863 is a near match. with one severa being the mother and the second the daughter listed as 1866 probably the 1863 date. and the first severa with the 1830 date probably being your 1840 date.
i will look into melicio hinojosa and maybe this will bring more info on severa ramirez.
