hello cousin rosa,
i am sorry i waited so long to respond i saw your posting weeks ago but have had the flu and just now getting over it.
i found salome ramirez born 22 oct 1880 from he u. s. ssi index and rafaela sainz born 1880 from the 1880 u. s. census index. her father was adolfo sainz and they lived at loma blanca rancho , hidalgo, tx. . i found a listing for
melchor ramirez in the u. s. ssi index birth dated 29 feb 1901. he died nov 1976 and had resided in cameron co. tx. .
the only other melchor ramirez is born 4 jan. 1856 at san francisco del rincon , guanajuato, mx.. his parents are procopio ramirez and lina velsgues. i think this is him
because i found severa trevino ramirez born about 1866 at
v de los alamos, tx. and this would make these two match age wise.severa's parents are clemente trevino and andrea ramirez cuellar born about 1843 v de los alamos, tx. and clemente and andrea were married abt 1863 v de los aldamas, nuevo leon , mx. . i have the back line on nestora ramirez all the way up if you need it. only troble is there are two nestora ramirez from the 1880 census. first nestora ramirez is listed as born 1830 and age 50 living with cirilo masuca her sister in law at masuca ranche, zapata, tx..the second nestora ramirez is listed as born 1861 and
age 19 and living with rafaela trevino and is daughter in law. the widows at the time reverted back to their maiden
names so it can get quite confusing..
