I show my ancestor Anne Ralston, b 27 Apr 1759, Cecil Co., MD, d 27 Apr 1835, Waynesburg, PA (3 mos. aft. Thos.), bur Green Co. Mem. Park, Waynesburg, PA (13 children). Married Thomas Kent (Rev. War Vet) b 1 Mar 1748, Londonderry, Derry, Ireland, chr 13 Apr 1749, St. Colum's Cath., Londonderry, Ire., m 11 Jan 1777, Cecil Co., MD, d 8 Jan 1835, Franklin Twp, PA (Immigrated abt 1770 to Cecil Co., MD).

Anne's parents are John Ralston (Rev. War Vet, b 1735, of York Springs, York, PA, d 17 Feb 1795, bur Weaverville Pres. Ch., E. Allen Twp, Northampton, PA, and Christiana Ann King, b abt 1735, Cecil Co., MD, d 2 Dec 1826, bur, w/John? or Brandywine Manor, Chester, PA? (9 children)

John's parents are James Ralston, b abt 1699, Ireland, d 26 Jul 1775, E. Allen Twp, Northampton, PA and Mary Commock, b abt 1700, d 23 Jul 1774(75? )(1 child known)

Christiana's known parent is James King, b abt 1700.

John Ralston was a member of the "Provisional Congress" during the Rev. War & was a delegate from the county to frame the PA constitution. He was a Capt. & Paymaster in the Rev. army.

Thos. Kent's Rev. War service began in Cecil Co., MD, in 1776 with the "Flying Camp" under Capt. James Maxwell at "Battle Swamp" above Havre De Grace on the Susquehanna River. From there, he marched to Philadelphia, back to Trenton, then to Brunswick, to Hackensack, finally to Fort Lee to join Gen. Washington 2 days before a retreat -
6 mons. altogether until 1 Jan 1777 when he received a discharge in Philadelphia. 10 days later he married Anne Ralston. Served in militia for short tours of Indian fighting.

Thomas's parents are William Cante, b abt 1722 Ireland and Mary Unknown (2 children known).
