I read what you wrote about my branch of
Ralls:my great-grandfather John Robinson Ralls & wife Fannie (nee Bird) were in
Culloden Ga long before 1860, having descended from "old" John Ralls who came from what is now Taunton England around1720. John Robinson Ralls owned a large
plantation near Culloden, remnants in part still there I'm told. They had #children of whom one of the sons you mentioned,Eustace Manton, was my grandfather who established the 1st bank in Comanche Ok where I'm from originally. One of the other sons,John R. Ralls & bro.Percy who was also mentioned, went West & John R.founded the town of Ralls Tx approx.25 mi.E.of Lubbock--my family & I go there often,
I have 2 cousins living there: Alma Hendrick & Pauline Watkins,both dau.of
Percy Ralls. Pauline is the family historian who still manages the Ralls
Historical Museum & can tell you much
more re.our family tree than anyone else
I know. Hope this sheds some light for
you all & let us know if we can be of any additional assistance--would like to hear from you!Sincerely,Joe Ralls
