Janie,
I think I am out of the Raleigh family in Harlan Co. that you are researching. My cousin recently sent me information! Enoch Raleigh had son, James (1795?)in N.C.,(had grandparents in England). James had William "Billy" (b.2-15-1820 in TN,d.4-18-1900,buried Maggard Cemetary, Letcher Co. KY). Billy had Hiram(my gr-grandfather)2-4-1850, Perry Co.Ky, d.7-23-1936. Hiram, who was married x 2, built family home on Collier's Creek, Ky, had Steve,b.7-16-1885,d.6-2-1963.Steve m. Mary Jane Maggard & had 12 children. My grandfather, "Will" was (b.5-4-1874,d.2-26-1960) and would have been Steve's half-brother. Please contact me if you wish more information. Lane.
