Update: In the Kansas Daily Tribune, Lawrence, KS Dec 9, 1864 page 3 col 1: "The Dead of the Shawnee Regiment. Fourteen of the bodies of those of the Shawnee Regiment, K.S.M., who fell at the battle of the Little Blue were on Wednesday DISINTERRED [my caps] at Wyandotte and brought to Lawrence by railroad the same day they were taken to Topeka yesterday, and funeral services will be held at Topeka on Saturday, 10th...The following ...names...Rake...." So it seems that David Rake is buried in Topeka, Kansas; I don't know about the Little Blue, as most of the references are to the Big Blue. Frances
