On Message #48 (Jan 2002), I mentioned that I was trying to find information on Sarah's second husband, John TICE. I had found Sarah in cemetery near Stull, KS. I also stated that I had no further info on Sarah and 1st husband-RAKE. However recently I found David had been killed in Civil War Battle at BIG BLUE Oct 22, 1864. Big Blue is a small river that runs through [now]Kansas City, Mo. area. He was in the 22Rgt KSM Co.B; it seems he is buried in a veteren's ceme. in Topeka, KS. Further research--since I found his name--reveals them in the 1850 OHIO Morgan co. census listed with George M. 3, and Henuna[??] 1. The next census I located Sarah and children, without husband, was 1865 KS state census, Douglas co. Still hoping someone from that large family will be able to help me with Sarah's 2nd husband TICE.
