I had my DNA done by Ancestryfamilysearch and the name "Rainwater" is on my list of surnames. So now to find out how we are somehow related is the question. Since I'm a female it has to come from my Mother's side of the family. So here are the surnames I'll give you and perhaps you may reconize one of them.
Iflandt, Ifland, Efland, Eveland - Floeth, Floth, Fleit, Flyte, Fly, Fry - Jones. I indicated the various spelling of the first 2 surnames. My Mother's maiden name was Eveland, Grandmother's was Jones, great-Grandmother's Flyte. We are from the Northeast, Pennsylvania, Allentown, New Jersey and Philadelphia. Better yet I could say my ancesters were all over the United States.
With all the surnames on my list it would be great if I could find more relatives. That's the reason I had my DNA done and it's the sure way of knowing your relatives even if it's by a small amount. I hope to see your response soon. Dee
