Hi there,

My maiden name was Rainey. The branch of the family from which I am descended came from Sligo in the South of Ireland. I have recently been doing some research and as far as I can ascertain my Great Grandfather was the first Rainey in Sligo. I think he originated from Scotland but as yet have not been able to trace any further back.
