I am looking for information on Jemima Rainey and Sarah Sally Rainey who lived in Oglethorpe County, Georgia in the early 1800's. Jemima married Carey James in Oglethorpe in 1815 and Sarah Sally married Daniel Jenkins in Oglethorpe in 1814. Sarah lists her birthplace as North Carolina in the 1850 Census. I can find the following heads of households in Oglethorpe in the 1800 Census: Isham Rainey, William Rainey, and Matthew Rainey. I know Jemima and Sarah are not daughters of Matthew, but do not know if their father was William or Isham. Can anyone help?
