Anyone from Hendersonvile,NC BY THE NAME RAINES...PLEASE REPLY. I am Valerie G. Raines, daughter of Clyde William Raines and Jeanne Adrian Allen (Raines-Tracy) My mother Jeanne was married to Clyde Raines for 24 years. After my father Clyde passed away, my mother remarried to a Robert Tracy. All three are passed on. CLYDE WAS BORN IN 1915. HE SERVED IN WWII.
My father, Clyde Raines was married once before my mother and he were married. I do not know the name of his first wife, but I do know I have a half brother named Lavern and a half sister named Charlotte out there somewhere. I would love to find them and anyone who is in my fathers genealogy from North Carolina. EDDIE AND PAULINE? I remember meeting them 40 years ago or so when they came to LaCrosse or Onalaska, Wi. And when my mother Jeanne moved to NC in 1977 for a few years,and then returned to Wisconsin.
Mom and dad had 10 kids, 4 boys and 4 girls, a set of Twin boys were stillborn sometime in 1963? twins names were, HENRY AND HAROLD. Oldest to youngest siblings names... CLYDE E., HELEN A.,CHRISTINE J.,VALERIE G.,KENNETH L.,JEFFREY A.,LORA M., JAY W. If any of this helps anyone, please respond. Thank you and GODSPEED TO US ALL. I pray I find some answers.
