I have been researching my Raynor family and concluded we are not related to the NC line that originated wih Edward and Thurston. I believe we came through Virginia. I am descended from David Rainer and both of his wives. My grandmother is descended from David's daughter Piercy who married a Draughon and and my grandfather is descended from David and second wife Amy through son William and grandson William David Rainer.
