That was my only visit to Oaky Streak. Life has been a little busy since then, and I have wondered, at times, if I could even find the cabin plot, and am gaining interest in doing so. That is currently made difficult by my location in Michigan, which could change soon to Wilkesboro, North Carolina. I'm looking forward to that change which will allow me to get real close to the family's US origins and do some more research.

If the opportunity allows, I might be able to spend some time in the area of Oakey Streak and Opp, which would be most welcome. I haven't seen my Opp relatives in decades, so I have plenty of reason to do so.

If you run into Charlie, please tell him I said HI - my last visit to Dothan was around Spring of 1973.

Regards,
Bob Rainer
