Actually it was a fluke that I came up on her death certificate. I happened to be browsing a genealogy website and the owner of the website posted information on various surnames. And she just happened to have posted Martha's death certificate.
I emailed her and asked if she was related to Martha, and she said she wasn't. That she just happened to find the certificate and included it on her website because she was sure someone would be looking for it. She was right!
I saved the death certificate to my hard drive. If you would like me to email you a copy, I would be happy to.
I've been gathering a lot of information on the Rainers and have been in contact with 2 Rainer descendants....one is the son of Young Wood Rainer who was the son of Kenan (K.C) and Annie Stillwell Rainer. He is the great-grandson Kenan Cleland and Nancy Davis Rainer.
There are at least 2 "Young Wood Rainers" The one he is related to isn't the Young Wood that is James D's brother, but a descendant of his brother Kenan.
