I saw your post and am interested in contacting you. I am descended from David Rainer of Sampson Co, NC and two of his children, dau Pearcy sister of James Jarvis Rainer and William Rainer brother of James Jarvis Rainer. My line remained in Sampson Co and I go there often. My father's family was raised on one of the early Rainer land grants just above Goshen Swamp and Sutton town in Newton Grove.

I would love to share family history and I am interested in what you have to share on David's grandchildren who left NC. I would also love to see the article about James Rainers wife in the Andalusia paper, see a photo of her and read some of the letters. I have been doing a lot of research on the Sampson line. Maybe I can offer you some info from the NC branch. I look forward to hearing back from you.
