I have gone a bit further back - does this fit in with anybody ?
ISAAC RAINE was born Abt. 1745.
He married MARY SHIELD 19 April 1777 in Romaldkirk. She was born Abt. 1752, and died aged 61 on 20 May 1803 in Middleton in Teesdale (buried 22 May 1803).
Children of ISAAC RAINE and MARY SHIELD are:
i. JOHN RAINE, b. Abt. 1788.
ii. JOSEPH RAINE, b. 1778.
iii. ISAAC RAINE5, b. 21 June 1786.
iv. BETTY RAINE, b. 1784.
v. WILLIAM RAINE, b. January 1791.
JOHN RAINE (above) was born Abt. 1788. He married JANE DICKINSON 30 December 1809 in Middleton-in-Teesdale.
JOHN RAINE was christened on 3 January 1789.
Children of JOHN RAINE and JANE DICKINSON are:
i. ISAAC RAINE, b. 26 February 1811
ii. MARY RAINE, b. 1810.
iii. JOHN RAINE, b. 1812.
iv. NANNY RAINE, b. 1815.
v. JANE RAINE, b. 1828.
vi. CHARLES RAINE, b. 1831.
ISAAC RAINE (above) was born 26 February 1811. He married ELEANOR JOLLEY 1837 in Teesdale District.
ISAAC RAINE was baptised in Cockfield on 29 June 1837, an Adult Baptism probably so that he could wed in church.
Occupation: Tailor
Children of ISAAC RAINE and ELEANOR JOLLEY include:
i. RICHARD RAINE, b. 15 December 1839, Cockfield.
