According to the Will of Mary Shelton Raine Trueheart, there is no "Christopher Raine" listed as a child of John Raine.I believe the first three children mentioned, Nathaniel, Elizabeth and Mary(Ann) are children of the 1st wife; and John, George, Charles(Anderson), William, Thomas & (Joseph) Shelton were children of the 2nd marriage.Unless he is possibly the product of a 3rd marriage of John Raine, to Ann Nancy Marshall? This took place Jan 4, 1787 and I show John Raine as dying May 26, 1787.I have not got a copy of John's Will or estate papers, so I can't nail it down more than that.
