Wynn M. Rainbolt III HAMILTON - With his loving daughters by his side, Wynn M. Rainbolt III passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999. The son of Katharine Foster and Wynn M. Rainbolt Jr., he was born Sept. 17, 1935, in Flushing, N.Y. A graduate of Harvard University, and an English teacher at Hotchkiss School and The University of New Hampshire, he moved with his two daughters to Hamilton in 1972. Already an avid fly fisherman, he became a highly respected and much-loved guide, and devoted endless time and energy to protecting and defending the environment. Wynn was a natural teacher to the very end, and with his quick wit and high ideals he will be very dearly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his daughters, Tahlia H. Rainbolt of Santa Monica, Calif., and Katharine (Kim) N. Rainbolt of Missoula; his stepdaughters, Kori Jo Schloemer of Ketchum, Idaho, and Kristen A. Schloemer of Missoula; and his sisters, Ellen Torrey of Kiawah Island, S.C., and Faith Rainbolt of Rockland, Maine. A memorial celebrating his rich and full life will be held on Dec. 28 at the Teller Wildlife Refuge in Corvallis (961-3507), beginning at 2 p.m. All who knew Wynn are welcome. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Wynn's name be sent to the Montana Land Reliance, P.O. Box 355, Helena, Mont. 59624. The cremation is under the direction of Dowling Funeral Dowling Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements
