Bryan,
I must appologize for taking a year to reply to your post.In July 2001 I installed Photoshop and it wrote over some of my files needed to open my Family Tree Maker files.I have now uninstalled Photoshop and just saw your message. My grandfather was Egbert Railey Cockrell and his mother was Sadie Railey from Weston, MO.Her father was John Martin Railey and his father was Daniel Mayo Railey.Daniel's parents were Martin Railey and Elizabeth Mayo. There are eleven children listed on the will of John Railey and his wife Elizabeth Randolph Railey-Martin, Isham, William, James, Charles, Randolph, John III, Thomas, Elizabeth, Anna, and Jane.I would love to share any information with you.Did you know Isham Randolph had a brother, Richard, who married Jane Bolling whose line goes back to Pocahontas? There have been four women in my family over the years to be given the name of Pocahontas.I did not know about Mary Isham's line going back to Charlemagne and am very curious to learn about it.I am also not having much luck tracing the Mayo line.It appears twice as another relative, Jeremiah Vardamen Cockrell, married a Louise Mayo of VA.I would be happy to send you a copy of John and Eliza's will and a copy of the inventory taken shortly after John's death.Once again, I must appologize for taking so long to answer you.
Warm regards,
Caroline Wied
