Hi Mildred,
Just saw your info on the Railey family in GA. I'm a descendent of Green B. Moody and his wife Frances Railey. This record is from the Rootsweb GA Marriages, 1851 - 1900 "Green Moody and Francis Raily 17/09/1868, Meri GA" . I have corresponded with Linda Green on this Francis Railey for about a year and we decided that this Francis Railey is not the same Francis Railey (dau of John) born in 1840 Talbot Co GA and then appears in the 1870 LA census. Our Frances died in Aug 1880 in Meriwether COunty. Could she either be one of your Meriwether Co relatives or the wife of one of your Railey relatives??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
