Hello Issac,
I dont know if we may be connected but I also have just begun asking about my Railey name. My gradfather William was from southern Georgia in the United States. I dont know about any Raileys in the War but will be more than happy to help if I can. If you are more knowledgable re: geneology research and where to go from here let me know.
