We are excited as we plan the upcoming Raiford Reunion to be held the first weekend in June! We have sent over 250 letters and emails to Raiford relatives around the US and have heard from many of you. We wanted to be sure you have the latest information regarding the agenda for the reunion weekend and ask your help in locating more of the Raifords for us to invite.
Listed below is the agenda for Saturday and Sunday. Please contact me by May 26th if you plan to attend so we can adequately plan for everyone.
I am asking everyone to forward to me either by email or postal mail any photos you have of your family to be included in a special slide show we will have at the reunion. We also ask you to bring photos and any family memorabilia ( family Bibles, wedding dresses, etc.) to the reunion also to share with others. If you can mount them on a posterboard that will stand, it will be easier for everyone to see them. It doesn't have to be anything elaborate; just photos and names if possible. Some of the ones I saw in photos from the 1980 Raiford Reunion just had titles like "The Kenneth and Eula Raiford Family" with family member photos on it.
We are still trying to reach as many Raiford descendants as possible. Please forward the invitation and information to all of your family members if they haven't already received a letter or email. If you have information about any of the folks listed below or others to whom you want information sent, please let me know as soon as possible.

RAIFORD REUNION WEEKEND
June 2-3, 2007
Saturday, June 2nd - 4:00 p.m. Join with us as we rededicate the Henry and Martha Raiford Cemetery on the "Old Henry Raiford Place" farm at 14185 Appleton Road
Sunday, June 3rd - 9:00 a.m. Morning Worship Service at Corinth Friends Meeting
10:30 a.m. Registration for Raiford Reunion at Corinth Social Hall
11:00 a.m. Introduction of families
12:00 noon Potluck luncheon (bring a food dish to share and lawnchairs - drinks to be provided)
1:00 p.m. Sharing of the Raiford Family History
Bring a display of photos, memorabilia and as much family history as you can to share! Send photos NOW to me at yatrosp@cox.net if you would like to be part of the family slide show. I would prefer copies but will take originals and return them to you at the reunion.
If you need information regarding hotel accommodations, please let me know and I will direct you to several hotels in the area. Come and join all your relatives as we celebrate the lives and history of the descendants of Philip and Millie Johnson Raiford! There hasn't been such a large reunion since 1980 so you don't want to miss out!
