Katherine (I guess I can use that familiarity since we are likely kinfolk): I am the seemingly elusive Franklin Farmer, and Elaine Blackman Farmer is my niece. We both have been doing research for several years--I think perhaps she has focused more on the paternal side (Farmer) and I have done extensive work on my mother's heritage...back to Philip Raiford.
Neither of us have published any of our work--either separately or jointly. The document you cite, as you note, references the date Aug 1 1994. I am thinking that was one of my earlier "gatherings" of data and she posted the contents of that on her RootsWeb site.
That work has grown to about 700 printout pages through correspondence, library and courthouse work, and telephone conversations. Recently, I had some snags with my computer (haven't we all??) and I had already printed out a query on this subject you posted Jan 10 which Elaine forwarded to me. So are, the more knowledgable computer people have not been able to restore all of my work to my hard drive. See next message for more. Franklin
