I know this is not strictly genealogy, but I don't know where else to post it. Raiford Pittman has done a lot of research on this family, as have I, and we have been in contact for quite some time. Two weeks ago (2-10) he posted a note that he had had a stroke that day. I have talked with him today and he is recovering. He has no paralysis and his speech is clear, but his cognitive recall is hampered some. He is in therapy for 30 days and will hopefully be back on line soon.
