Gerhard Peter Rahn, born 14 May 1846 in Sparrau, Molotschna, South Russia (Ukraine) and died 25 Feb 1914 in Mt Lake , Minnesota. He was son of Peter Jacob Rahn, born 1799, probably in Platenhof bei Tiegenhof, West Prussia, and died in Russia, date unknown. His father and mother were Jacob J. Rahn (1750-13 Feb 1810) and Maria Wiebe (1762-17 Oct 1820).They married in Heubuden, west Prussia, 11 Dec 1791
Katharina Hiebert, born 1830 in Lichtfelde, Molotschna, South Russia.....she married Peter Jacob Rahn; had following children

Katherina, born 1851/2
Elisabeth, born 1853/4
Abraham, born 1855/6 (in 1897 he lived in Samara, Russia)
Anna, born 1861/2
Johann, born 1860/1 (ca. 1900 he was in Moskalenko, Omsk oblast, Siberia)
Katharina Hiebert was daughter of Klaas Zacharias Hiebert and Katharina Wall; Klaas bor 1804 in Prussia and died on SS Vaderland 14 July 1876 and was buried at sea; Katharina was born 1794 in Ellerwald, West Prussia to Kornelius Gerhard Wall (1763-????) and Margaretha Wall (1765-???). they married 15 Nov 1789 in Elbing. Kornelius was a son of a Gerhard Wall, and Margaretha was the daughter of Ehrenfried (Friedrich) Wall.
