Robin, I believe we've corresponded on our Rahn ancestry before. There is an LDS record for a David Rahn, b. 15 Nov 1824 in Bukowitz, Prussia whose parents were Daniel Rahn, b. 15 Dec 1795 in Bukowitz, d. 2 Nov 1829, m. 14 May 1820 to Catharina Schoenfeldt, b. 31 May 1798 in Bukowitz, d. 21 Oct 1829. Daniel Rahn's parents were Daniel Rahn, b. 1758 and Maria Krueger, b. ca 1768. Perhaps this is the David you're looking for. Looks as though this David was orphaned at age 5 which could be one of the reasons he's difficult to research. There were 5 other children born to this family as well. Good luck!
