Hi Ellen,

I got very excited by your message - I am looking for descendants of John Rahilly and Katherine Barton (County Cork Kerry, Ireland -- they are my great-great grandparents.) My great-grandmother was Katherine Rahilly who was born in 1899 and we think she was the 2nd youngest of about 13 children. She came to the United States when she was about 17 and settled in Springfield, Massachusetts. Most of my family is still in and around Springfield, MA. I am currently living in Sydney Australia and am hoping to trace some relatives in Australia (or anywhere, really!) We believe that two of my great-grandmother's brothers, John Rahilly and Patrick Rahilly, moved to Australia, but I am not sure where.

Does this sound like Martin could have been Katherine Rahilly's brother? I will ask my Aunts in the U.S. if they have anything about a Martin Rahilly listed on our family charts.
