Does Rahilly mean - - - Reilly?

Perhaps some knowledgeable descendant might know and be kind enough to inform me...did the name Rahilly (or O'Rahilly)come about as a spelling variation of Reilly (or O'Reilly)? I have read conflicting theories that say it did and that it did not. Hmmm.
As a sidebar, if you were to purchase a copy of the "family crest" from any of several Irish firms, you will get the identical crest as someone named Reilly. Interesting?
