What's the deal with ..

What's the deal with people pronouncing our name the way they do? How do you all pronounce it? I just lie to people and tell them "RAH-HILLY" if I want to avoid confusion with the spelling. How do you Rahilly's feel about our last name? Are you impressed by its uniqueness, irritated by its quarkiness, disgusted by its form, fascinated with its tradition? Someone once told me it means "fence". Anyone out there into playing music with a sense of humor?

Farewell,
William Schaff Rahilly
