I found these Ragsdale's at the FamilySearch.org and wonder if this could help someone. 1..William Ragsdale, b. 1812 <Shelby Co., AL> .+..Elizabeth Alexander, b. 1823 <Shelby Co., AL> .....m. 6 Apr 1843 in St. Clair Co., AL ..2.a.James Ragsdale, b. 1844 in Shelby Co., AL ..2.b.William Ragsdale, b. 1845 in Shelby Co., AL ..2.c.Cynthia Ragsdale, b. 1846 in Shelby Co., AL ..2.d.Louisa Ragsdale, b. 1848 in Shelby Co., AL ..2.e.Amanda Ragsdale, b. abt 1851 in Shelby Co., AL ..2.f.John William Ragsdale, b. abt. 1853 in Shelby Co., AL What I am hoping is that the Amanda here could possibly be my Great Grandmother and not the Amanda Jane Ragsdale b. 1850 in Harris Co., GA. On the 1880 Census for Marshall Co., MS says that Amanda RAGSDALE-WEST was born in AL as were her parents. Before I found the above information I had considered Amanda Jane Ragsdale of Harris Co., GA to be my Great Grandmother. Edith Notify Administrator about this message?
