Just googled Aaron Lister and found this which is a sure thing because Magdalena lived with her family in Cedar Co.

Obituary --- Aaron Lister
Aaron Lister was born near Canton, Ohio, August 15, 1840.On December 30, 1861, he was united in marriage to Miss Naomi Pager.To this union eleven children were born, four of whom with the mother, preceded him to the better world.Soon after his marriage he moved to Cedar County, Iowa, and after a few years moved to Clarinda.This was his home until about four years ago when he came to live with his son, S. [amuel] T. [homas] Lister, south of Gravity.For about a year he has been an invalid and a great sufferer, but through it all he was patient.
Death came to release him June 11, 1924, at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 11 days.He leaves to mourn their loss 3 sons and 4 daughters:S. [amuel] T.[homas] and D. [avid] A. [lbert] Lister of Gravity, Guy of Clarinda, Mrs. L.[evi] W. Good [Mary Ella], of College Springs, Mrs. P.[erry] A. Winger [Julia] of Coin, Mrs. Albert Brooks [Blanche] of Clarinda, and Mrs. R. S. Thomas of Modesto, California.
The funeral was held from the home south of Gravity at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, conducted by J. R. McNichols, and interment was made at Clarinda.
