I'm looking for the descendents of Jacob Reager, who lived in the Wheeling, Ohio Co., Virginia (now West Virginia), area in the 1770's and 1780s. He married Elizabeth Worthington, the daughter of Thomas and Ann Worthington, who owned land nearby Jacob Reager in Ohio Co., Va. Jacob and Elizabeth married around 1778 or before. Some of the Worthingtons went to Kentucky in the 1774-80 time period. Jacob Reager can be found on the May 1789 tax list of Jefferson Co., Kentucky. He is also listed as a buyer of 6 lots in and around Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky in 1785. Also listed as a buyer of lots in Louisville in the same year was Burk Reager. (This info. is found on p. 179-81 of "History of Ohio Falls Cities, vol. I.")

Is there a connection between this Jacob and Burk/Burkett?
