Thanks for your input but I'm quite certain our Ragers (mine: MAGDALENA RAGER, born Aug.9, 1849) are not related. Her whole family was born in Cambria Co. PA plus Magdalena and whoever went with her, settled on the other side of the state: Cedar County.
It's just a mystery to me how a <14> year old girl ends up in Iowa from PA and I can find no traces of anyone who went with her.
