Rosie was the daughter of Henry and Samantha Rummel. She married Jake on 8 August 1899 in Ebensburg, PA. J.D. Parrish was the magistrate. She was 17 and her father gave his consent. Rosie died on the 19th of October 1933 at her home. Jake and Rosie are buried at Armaugh Cemetery. They had at least a dozen kids. Nora married Earl Ressler, Florence married George Tweedy, Albert married Madeline Doyle, Nancy married Bill Hartack, Walter Roy, Jacob T. Jr., Mabel married James Pangel, Harry D., Thomas, Howard D., Pearl married to Paul Hamrock. There may have been more. I got these names from Jake and Rosie's obituaries. I have been told that Pearls husband was not named Paul- that the obituary is incorrect. That could be. Neither Walter or Thomas appear to have been married. Tom, Harry, Albert and his wife are all also buried at Armaugh. Rosie's mother and 2 brothers outlived her - the brothers were not mentioned by name. Hope this helps.
