How is Harold Rager related to me???

I met a girl named Amanda Rager and recently I stumbled onto a site where I discovered more about my ancestors. My mother had my direct line back to Johann Michael Rager b. 1759 and I found out his father was Conrath Rager b. abt. 1732. My question is, Amanda's Grandfather is Harold Rager who's father was John Rager. My Grandfather was Glenn Arthur Rager b. 1938 d. 1970 who's father was Herbert Newton Rager b. 1897 d. 1979. What is the relationship of Harold and Herbert and is Amanda somehow connected (related) to me? Thanks for your help!
