I have two questions about this family:
BETHENA RAGAN b ca 1776 Newberry District, South Carolina m. circa 1794, Newberry District, South Carolina to John Jackson. This family migrated to Miami County, Ohio from Newberry County, South Carolina. They had seven (7) children; Daniel, Elizabeth, Jane, John, Mary, Bethena, and William R.
1) Do you know of any living male of this Jackson family who has participated in DNA testing at FTDNA? The testing could have been done on any male descendants of Bethena's sons Daniel, John or William R.
2) I know of a possible DNA candidate who is willing to be tested, but I would like to first confirm his paper trail to John Jackson who married Bethena Ragan or Reagan. Can you help with documentation for the connection between this John who m Bethena and the John Jackson who married Elizabeth Coates?
