Approximate death date was gleaned from Young RaganŐs Intestate papers at Abbeville County Courthouse, Abbeville, South Carolina. His son, Jesse Ragan, was appointed as the administrator of Young RaganŐs estate by the Ordinary Court of Abbeville County, South Carolina. There was the letter of administration which was issued to Jesse Ragan. And there was the inventory and sale for Young RaganŐs estate.
