Have discovered a Raffield ancestor in my family history, but do not have anything but her name. Jane Priscilla Raffield married Peter Jayroe sometime in the early 1800s. I am not sure where they lived, but most of my family on this side lived in the Clarendon and Sumter County areas of SC. Peter and Jane had at least one child - Martha Elizabeth "Mary" Jayroe born 16 Jun 1839 and died 30 Jul 1868. "Mary" married Neighbor Harvin Holladay. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
