Grandfather Jefferson Green Fields, born in Pulaski County Georgia, 1820, was first married to Eliza P. Rafield, and had two children: Mary A. and Joseph. Have no idea what happened to Eliza, Mary or Joseph. GF Fields migrated to KY and remarried Anna Caple and one son Andrew Jackson Fields; 3rd marriage to Rebecca Partain (my grandmother).
G-parents moved to Pope County, Arkansas, where I was born and raised. J.G. Fields served in the Civil War, CSA, Co D 1st Tenn HV Arty, under command of Colonel Andrew Jacson Jr.
