Rae family from Scotland to Canada
Posted by: Ron Rae (ID *****7902) Date: September 27, 2005 at 10:38:09

My name is Ronald James Rae, shortly after the death of my grandfather I have decided to search for my family roots tracing back to Glasgow, Scotland. I know that my great grandmother Agnes Rae, allong with Joseph and (I beilieve the spelling is)Jemima Rae borded a ship called the "PRETORIAN" 22nd of June 1920. They arrived in Quebec the 3rd of July 1920(I believe Verdun Quebec). While in Quebec my great grandmother had 4 children Maime Rae, Isabelle Rae(now Wilkie), Iris Rae(now Fortine) and James Melville Rae. I also know of a step brother due to my great grandmother getting re-married named Joseph Patton.
